The Old Timers Camp is located in a quiet part of Coober Pedy almost directly opposite the Old Timers Mine it offers a unique opportunity for small groups (twenty maximum) to share the experience of dugout life.
This hand dug dugout was originally excavated by a Coober Pedy miner more than thirty years ago and until recently was a family home.

Today it has eighteen bunk beds and a private double bedroom, there is a fully equipped kitchen and an outside BBQ area.The lounge is complete with a television and ample seating. The outside has plenty of room for parking and manoeuvering four wheel drives and trailers.

The Old Timers Mine is pet friendly. Stay includes admission to the Old Timers Mine Tourist complex.
