Belmadar Rose Cottage is a fully self-contained two bedroom cottage fully accessible for the disabled, yet suitable for anyone. Situated in a rural setting just 5 minutes from the town of Singleton. There is an open plan kitchen/dining/loungeroom. The kitchen is fully equiped - small stove, microwave oven, full size fridge, all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Benches are accessible for those in chairs. All linen is included in the tariff. There is an outdoor area at the rear of the cottage with a barbeque. In one bedroom there is a double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds one of which is an electric hi/lo bed. There is also a sofa lounge in the loungeroom. The bathroom is designed so that it is suitable for disabled access. Grab rails have been installed in the shower and beside the toilet, hand basin is low enough for anyone in a wheelchair. There is also a frontload washing machine (soap powder provided). Access to the outdoor area is through a rear door in the bathroom/laundry. There is a standard commode chair and an electric hoist available.

Directions Come to Singleton on the New England Highway or via the Putty Road. Follow the New England Highway over the Crossing Bridge over the Hunter River. Continue along Highway through the lights at Bridgman Road, turning left into Maison Dieu Road after passing under the railway bridge. Continue down Maison Dieu Road for 2 Kilometres we are the fourth street on the right and the first gateway on the left. If travelling down the New England Highway from Muswellbrook, turn left into Maison Dieu Road down the hill from the Service Station and before the railway bridge.
