The Island Sanctuary is a tranquil and private place to spend some special time. Located on a sub tropical island just a short ferry ride from Redland Bay, our Bed & Breakfast offers an air conditioned queen bedded room with en-suite bathroom & walk-in robe. The suite includes a private sitting room, fully screened deck & a courtyard with barbeque facilities. Macleay Island is ideal for fishing (hire a boat), cycling (we have bikes for you to use), walking (fairly even terrain), birdwatching. We boast our own 9 hole golf course and a bowling club with spectacular views. Everything is very relaxed on the island. The Island Sanctuary Bed & Breakfast has been thoughtfully designed as a delightful place to relax and unwind. We have satellite TV, a DVD library, books and games for your entertainment. A delicious breakfast is served on the deck at a time to suit you.

Directions Via Car Ferry From Redland Bay take the Car Ferry at Weinam Street to Macleay Island. Via Passenger Ferry Park at the passenger ferry terminal. From the jetty on Macleay drive up the hill and take the first turn left on to Southsea Road and follow that round until you find Western Road on the left. Take that and you will come to The Island Sanctuary on the left at the junction with Emily Crescent. We are happy to meet you off the passenger ferry and see to your transport needs while you are with us.
