Avonsleigh Oaks has an interesting effect on people who come to stay. They get to feel that time slows down. It's something to do with the dappled light of the oaks or, when the oaks are bare, snuggling up around a wood log fire, soaking in a deep spa and tucking up in a dreamy, romantic bed. That's just the cottage. There are still all the wonderful things to see and do in the Dandenong Ranges. The gardens and forests, the village shops and the famous Puffing Billy Railway--all steeped in a bygone era.
