Named after the enormous gum tree which stands sentinel in the garden Bluegum Cottage is an original restored miner's cottage (c1860).
The cottage comfortably accommodates 6 people in 3 bedrooms - 1 Queen size room, 1 Double room and 2 Singles in the third room. It has a large living room with open fire, gas heater, colour TV and video player, CD/radio/cassette player and air-conditioner. Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove and microwave.
The highlight of Bluegum is its original claw foot bath - deep enough to totally submerge and forget city stresses! The cottage also has a separate shower, laundry facilities and gas BBQ.
The shops and cafes of Maldon are at one of the street, the golf course at the other. Walk to either. Bluegum is perfect for a cosy retreat but is also well suited to a family holiday.
